We will meet to discuss and explore themes, books, ideas & experiences in the area of globalisation & poverty, focusing on the ways that business, economics and liberty can support positive development, growth and change in the world. Specific topics may include microfinance, economic policy, international trade, capitalism and its successes and failures, the impact of globalisation on economic welfare and culture, and any other topic that ignites the passion of the group's members. All that is required is a passion for new ideas, a desire to participate in an open forum to respectfully and honestly explore new ideas, and to meet other Londoners interested in both deepening their understanding of globalisation & poverty and meeting other folks with similar goals and interests.
